    Caberfae Peaks Resort – South Peak

A Giant Slalom Race

Age Groups:  0 to 6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13 and up.  Please no full time USSA racers.  Age is determined by the athlete’s age on December 31, 2020.

Awards:  Medals for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd.  Medals will be handed out to coaches within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the race or mailed out soon after.

 

Format:

Two runs combined time for GS only.  One Inspection for both courses.

Age Groups 0-6 and 7-8 Start at 10:00 am on skiers right and go immediately to skiers left.  Age groups 9-10, 11-12 and 13 and up start at 10:45 am on skiers right and go back up for final runs on skiers left.

 

Timeline:

         Registration – packet pick up:  8:00 – 8:30am at main ticket window

Course Inspection:  9:15-9:50am for all

GS courses on Liberty (inspect both)

Start Time:

10:00 am Start for age groups 0-6 and 7-8

(they will take both runs, starting on skiers right and immediately come back up for second run on skier left)

10:45 am Start for 9-10, 11-12 and 13 and up

(they will take both runs, starting on skiers right and immediately come back up for second run on skier left)

(the top of south is a small area so we will try to space out)

There will be not scoreboard – Races will be on live timing

 

Racer Entry Fee:        Race Registration Fee – $15

Racer Lift Ticket – 8 & Under – $5

9 & Up – $15

 

Registration: 8:00 – 8:30 am

Race Packets can be picked up at the main ticket office. 

Packets will include:  Racer bibs, racer tickets, friends and family tickets, 2 run orders and 2 comp coach’s tickets. 

One purchase price to Caberfae Peaks for each team packet will be calculated on each registration sheet.  This fee will not be adjustable at time of registration – packet pick up.  Please let me know if you have any unforeseen changes happen after Wednesday.  They will be able to accept cash, check (made out to Caberfae Peaks), Visa, MC or Discover transactions.

Family and friends can also purchase their own additional lift tickets at the main ticket office from 8:00 – 10:00am only.  Family and friends 9 & over for $24, 8 & under will be $5.
