2020 HRT Invitational Fact Sheet (Download)
Please join the Holiday Race Team for a great day of ski racing at the HRT Invitational at Mt. Holiday!!
Date: Saturday February 8, 2020
Location: Mt. Holiday – 3100 Holiday Rd. – Traverse City, MI 49686
Age Groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13+ (racer age as of 12/31/2019)
Registration: $30 racer fee includes lift ticket, racer lunch provided by Mt. Holiday in the cafeteria and
invitational water bottle to take home.
$20 lift tickets will be available for family members, you do not need to purchase in advance.
Coaches tickets – please notify Brian Mohr when submitting your rosters
1 person per club to check in to get bibs, lift tickets and lunch wristbands for their team from the HRT Race Room, located downstairs next to ski patrol. We ask that teams collect the money for their participant’s and write 1 check per team made out to Holiday Race Team. We will need to charge a $25 fee for missing/non returned bibs.
Teams may assemble in the cafeteria upstairs. The bar opens at 11 am on Saturday and we have been asked to try and keep the kids out of that area so that they can accommodate other guests as well.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: February 3, 2020
Awards: Awards will be presented near the timing shack 30 minutes after the last racer has finished and the course has been taken down.
Trophies will be given to the top 3 and medals 4th – 10th within each age group.
Holiday Race Team will provide all volunteer positions.
Parking will be tight with the number of participants that we anticipate, carpooling is suggested if possible.

More details to follow regarding the tentative schedule below. You will be notified of any changes. Please note the blue lift to access the courses will open at 9 am. We encourage racers to head for lunch in the cafeteria as they finish their 2nd run of event #1, to help ease the traffic/congestion in the lodge. Depending on weather and hill conditions, we plan to set up a shorter, 3rd course for the 5 & 6 age group to run separately. Times subject to change, it’s ski racing!

11:30 –12:15pm Break & Course maintenance/reset (tentative based on conditions & numbers)
12:15 – 12:45 Course Inspection
12:45 – 1:30 Event #2, Run #1
